Koko Moon is an Italian-born musician, singer and songwriter whose Lynchian-inspired sound evokes a world of light and shadow, captivating anyone who enters her sonic universe. Bold basslines intertwine with shimmering synths, moving through walls of sound that rise and dissolve into the air. Rhythms flow through melodies that unfold naturally, while lyrics drawn directly from lived experiences — under both the sun and the moonlight — explore dreams, nights, lunar phases, demons and ever-changing inner landscapes. Inspired by underground aesthetics and shoegaze, Koko Moon blends deep reverbs and ethereal effects with enveloping pop melodies, creating songs that feel like intimate little stories of genuine emotion. Before embarking on her solo journey, she played with Be Forest until 2019, an experience that took her on tour around the world, onto the stages of major festivals and eventually to a memorable performance at KEXP. In 2021, she released her debut album, Shedding Skin, marking a transformative milestone in her artistic journey. Koko Moon is currently working on new music, continuing to shape her sound with the same dreamlike intensity and emotional honesty.
